Terms of Service
Last updated: 5 November 2026
These terms govern your use of bitpaysa.com and the Bitpaysa services, including the Bitpaysa wallet at wallet.bitpaysa.com. By using the website or the services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.
Who we are
The services are operated by Bitpaysa Limited, a company incorporated in Hong Kong on 27 October 2026, of Unit 1603, 16/F, The L. Plaza, 367–375 Queen's Road Central, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong. In these terms, "Bitpaysa", "we" and "us" mean Bitpaysa Limited.
What Bitpaysa is — and is not
Bitpaysa is a financial technology company. Bitpaysa is not a bank, and it does not hold any banking licence, money-service licence, or other regulatory authorisation, and nothing in these terms or on our website should be read as claiming one. Funds held in the wallet are not bank deposits and are not covered by deposit protection or investor compensation schemes (including the FSCS, FOS, or FDIC) or any equivalent scheme.
Nothing provided by Bitpaysa is financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Access to the wallet is currently limited to early-access and pilot users, and features may be available only to some users or in some places.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the services. You must not use the services if doing so would be unlawful where you are. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you — including tax obligations arising from your transactions — and for keeping your sign-in email account secure.
The wallet and self-custody
The Bitpaysa wallet is self-custodial. Your wallet is created through wallet infrastructure provided by Privy, and your private keys and seed phrase remain under your control — Bitpaysa never holds them and cannot access your funds.
- We cannot recover your wallet. If you lose access to your sign-in method, devices, or credentials, you may permanently lose access to your wallet and funds. Bitpaysa cannot restore keys or reverse this.
- Blockchain transactions are irreversible. Once a transaction is submitted to a network, it cannot be cancelled or reversed by us or by you.
- You choose the address and network. You are responsible for checking that the recipient address and blockchain network are correct before confirming. Sending an asset on the wrong network or to the wrong address can result in permanent loss.
- Supported assets and networks. The wallet supports USDT and USDC, and supported networks' native gas tokens, on the blockchains listed in the app. We may add or remove supported assets and networks; removing support does not move your assets, which remain at your addresses on-chain.
What you can do today
Send and receive. Hold USDT and USDC across multiple blockchains and send and receive them on-chain from your wallet addresses.
Swaps. Swap between your own assets and chains inside the wallet. Swaps are executed by third-party liquidity and bridging providers; the rate and any fees are shown before you confirm.
Cross-chain moves. Move USDC between supported chains, executed through third-party bridging infrastructure.
Buy with card. Buy USDT or USDC with a card through third-party on-ramp providers. The provider — not Bitpaysa — is the seller of the crypto, performs its own identity checks, and sets its own pricing and limits; its terms apply to the purchase. Availability varies by country, and a provider may decline any purchase.
Euro account details. Eligible users can receive euro (EUR) account details for receiving SEPA transfers, provided through our banking partner, Monerium. That service is provided under Monerium's own terms, and Monerium performs the identity verification for it.
Bitpaysa Pay (pilot)
Bitpaysa Pay — paying Bangladeshi merchants by Bangla QR — runs as a limited pilot. During the pilot, payments are made in USDT converted at the rate displayed in the app at the time of payment, with settlement handled through local partners. Pilot features may be limited, changed, paused, or withdrawn, and we do not guarantee execution times or outcomes while the pilot is running.
Not yet available
The following are not available today, and any references to them on our website or in the app describe future plans only:
- Bitpaysa Card — in development and testing; not issued to the public.
- Cash-out to bKash, Nagad, or other local payout methods — coming soon.
- Multi-currency accounts beyond euro (EUR) — currencies such as USD, GBP, and AED are shown as coming soon and are not live.
Fees
Blockchain network (gas) fees are set by the networks and are borne by you. Third-party providers charge their own fees, which are theirs. Where Bitpaysa charges a service fee — for example on swaps — it is displayed in the app before you confirm the transaction, and by confirming you accept it. Fees are not refundable once a transaction has been submitted.
Third-party services
Parts of the service rely on third parties — including wallet infrastructure (Privy), banking partner services (Monerium), on-ramp providers, swap and bridging liquidity providers, and the blockchain networks themselves. Those services are provided under their own terms, and Bitpaysa is not responsible for their downtime, pricing, errors, or acts. A failure or delay at a third party or network may delay or prevent a transaction.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the services lawfully. You must not use them for fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, or any other illegal activity, and you must not disrupt the services or attempt to gain unauthorised access to them or to other users' accounts. We may suspend or terminate access for anyone who breaches these terms or whose use creates legal or security risk.
Risks
Crypto assets carry risk. Stablecoins can lose their peg, networks can congest, fail, or change, and third-party providers can fail. Bitpaysa is an early-stage, pilot-stage service: features can change, and interruptions can occur. You should not hold or move more through the service than you can afford to lose.
Availability and liability
The website and services are provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bitpaysa is not liable for losses arising from your use of the services — including losses from market or peg movements, network failures, third-party failures, incorrect addresses or networks you selected, or loss of access to your wallet credentials. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Hong Kong law.
Changes to these terms
These terms may change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the website or services after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong, and the courts of Hong Kong have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from the services.
